English Grammar Master · Last updated: 2 November 2026
This policy explains what information the English Grammar Master app ("the app") handles. The app is published by Ruwan Abeysinghe ("we", "us").
Information stored on your device
The app works offline. Your learning progress is stored only on your device: lesson progress, quiz answers, review schedule, streak, placement level and settings. We do not have user accounts and we do not receive or store this information on our servers. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes it. If Android backup is turned on, Android may include this data in your personal Google backup.
Advertising
The app shows ads using Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. To show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, AdMob may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- your approximate location, based on your IP address;
- information about your device and the app, such as model, operating system version and language;
- ad interactions, such as ads shown and ads tapped, and diagnostic data such as crash information.
Google handles this information according to its own policies. To learn more, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choices and consent
Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and some US states, the app asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before ads are personalised. You can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy & ads → Ad privacy choices in the app. This option appears only where it applies. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device's Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Ads in the app are limited to content suitable for a general audience.
Data sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the advertising data that AdMob processes as described above, the app does not share data with third parties.
Security
Data that AdMob sends is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Data stored on your device is protected by Android's app sandbox.
